Afternoon Tea Media Day
The Wonderful World of the Gatsby Era Arrived at Luttrellstown Castle
To kick off the Festive season and to launch our delightful Gatsby themed Afternoon Tea, we hosted a fabulous Tea party for invited guests on November 30th and what a party it was!
Luttrellstown Castle has witnessed some of the most fabulous parties, glamorous balls and fancy race day celebrations in its heyday of the 1920’s and 1930’s thanks to its owner, Aileen Guinness and we wanted to create that wonderful joie de vivre vibe for Christmas 2021!
Champagne and mulled wine welcomed our guests on arrival and after a little tour of the Castle, our guests sat down and enjoyed the gorgeous menu created by our Pastry Chef, Robert Sarowski. Whilst enjoying sandwiches, warm scones and gingerbread and sweet delights including hazelnut and milk chocolate cake, lemon meringue tart and sherry trifle, the guests relaxed while listening to upbeat jazz trio, The Honey Dews who we all thoroughly enjoyed. To round off the event, the brilliant Emily Hourican read from her newly launched book, ‘The Guinness Girls – A Hint of Scandal’.
A fantastic and fun event!
