Valentine’s Afternoon Tea at Luttrellstown Castle

This Valentine’s Day, treat your loved one to an afternoon of romance and history at Luttrellstown Castle with our Royal Romance Afternoon Tea. Set in the elegant Van Stry Ballroom and surrounded by the charm of our historic Irish castle, it is the perfect way to create lasting memories with that special someone.

This exclusive event is available for just two dates, Sunday, 9th February, and Saturday, 15th February, with sittings at 1pm and 4pm. A guided history tour at 3.30pm will also take you on a captivating exploration of the castle’s past, unveiling fascinating stories of its royal history.

This year's theme was inspired by the castle’s long history of hosting notable royals. From Queen Victoria to Princess Grace of Monaco, the castle has welcomed many distinguished guests over the years. This theme celebrates that heritage while offering couples a chance to enjoy a romantic afternoon in a setting full of charm and history, with a menu and atmosphere inspired by royal traditions.

Enjoy a variety of freshly prepared sandwiches, warm scones served with clotted cream and jam, and an array of tempting pastries and cakes. All complemented by your choice of tea or a glass of champagne for an extra special touch.
