Golf Course Autumn Update

As we say goodbye to Summer and welcome in the Autumn months, it’s time to start our recovery programme on the course.

We have over-seeded new varieties of grass species into our tees and approaches for greater water and nutrient use.

Taking our environmental responsibilities to the next level, we have several projects starting shortly. We are planning granular fertilizing of the fairways in order to aid in better health and playability of the course during the next few months whilst also re-surfacing all the pathways with a new stone.

Towards the end of September, we will commence our bunker renovation which will continue through to February.  This will involve removing all the grass face and old sand in the bunkers and re-installing a new face and fresh new sand.

The next few months will be a busy time for the greenkeeping team.
